7-8 August: “Studzianki under Fire” military picnic organised by the Studzianki Armour Museum (Mazowieckie voivodship). A ceremonial commemoration of the 77th anniversary of the tank battle fought by Polish Army units against the Germans at Studzianki (Głowaczów municipality, Mazowieckie voivodship) in August 1944. The purpose of the above celebrations is to commemorate and pay tribute to all Polish soldiers who fought, died or were wounded in service of their homeland and to foster national awareness and local identity among children and youth. The celebrations will feature promotional and exhibition booths of the 1st Warsaw Armoured Brigade and various local and State cultural institutions, foundations, and members of Historical Reenactment Groups from the Mazowsze region.
