Agnieszka Petelicka<\/strong> – President of the Board<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A manager by education, she graduated in Management and Marketing (MBA Oxford Brookes University and Executive MBA French Institute of Management). Ms Petelicka has over 20 years of experience in creating and implementing communications strategies for companies and NGOs. Among others, she has worked for Kraft Jacobs Suchard, Xerox, Pirelli, Kruszwica, Financial Times, and Eurosport. During her time at the Ryszard Krauze Foundation she collaborated with the European Film Festival, Warsaw Jewish Film Festival, Galicia Multicultural Festival, and the Gdynia Feature Film Festival. Ms Petelicka produced a documentary „W poszukiwaniu utraconych lat” [In Search of Lost Years] which won the second prize at the „Crossroads of Europe” International Festival.
Agnieszka Petelicka sits on the Board of the Mazovian Branch of the National Health Fund as a representative of the Mazovian Voivodship Assembly. She completed postgraduate studies in Humanitarian Aid at the University of Warsaw. Apart from collaborating with the Women in the Centre association, she has also been implementing educational campaigns on patriotic behaviours as an addition to her social activity in recent years. She is currently attending postgraduate studies in suicidology conducted by the Polish Association of Suicidology. As Ms Petelicka says herself, „The common goal of all the members of the newly formed GROM. STRENGTH AND HONOUR Foundation is to ensure that, in a short period of time, we become a thriving organization similar to J.W. GROM, which has become Poland\u2019s showcase in the world and a true brand. It is our mission to continue the idea of help, started by my husband, the late Brigadier General S\u0142awomir Petelicki.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lieutenant General Waldemar Skrzypczak – Chairman of the Council<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waldemar Skrzypczak (born 19 January 1956 in Szczecin), Lieutenant General, officer of armoured and mechanised forces. Having joined the Polish Army in 1976, in 2006-2009 he held the position of commander of the Polish Land Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1976-1980 he graduated from the Armoured Forces Officer School in Pozna\u0144. A graduate of the Polish Armed Forces General Staff Academy and Postgraduate Operational and Strategic Studies at the National Defence Academy in Warsaw, in 2006 he completed Survey of Topics in Strategic-Level Defence Resources Management at the Defence Resources Management Institute, Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California(USA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His first official posting as commander of a tank platoon was with the 16th Dnowsko-\u0141u\u017cycki Medium Tank Regiment in S\u0142upsk. In 1982, he was appointed a tank company commander at the same Regiment, following which he was delegated to the General Staff Academy two years later. After graduating in 1987, he remained in Warsaw, where he served as NCO at the Operations Board of the Main Board of Combat Training of the Polish Army. Next, he served with the 20th Armoured Division as Chief of Staff of the 68th Tank Regiment in Budowa and Chief of Staff of the 33rd Mechanized Regiment in Z\u0142ocieniec. In 1991, he took command of the 32nd Budziszy\u0144ski Mechanized Regiment in Kolobrzeg. From 1993 to 1996 he served as Chief of Staff of the 1st Warsaw Mechanized Division in Legionowo, following which he was assigned to the Land Forces Command in Warsaw where he took the position of Deputy Head of Combat Training. In 1997, he completed the Postgraduate Operational and Strategic Studies at the National Defence Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 1998 and 2001 he commanded the 16th Pomeranian Mechanized Division in Elbl\u0105g. He then held the following positions: Commander of the Armoured and Mechanized Forces Command – Deputy Chief of Land Forces Training, Head of the Doctrine and Training Board of the Armed Forces General Operational Board P3 with the General Staff of the Polish Army in Warsaw, and Head of the Board of Land Operations G3 – Deputy Chief of Staff of the Land Forces. In 2003, he was appointed commander of the 11th Lubuska Armoured Cavalry Division in \u017baga\u0144. From February to July 2005, he commanded the Multinational Division Central-South within the scope of the fourth tour of the Polish Military Contingent in Iraq. On 3 October 2006 he was appointed commander of the Land Forces and held that position until September 2009.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Founder of PG Energy Capital Management („PG Energy”) with over 30 years of experience in finance and energy sectors with Polish and international companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 1993 to 2005, Pawe\u0142 Gricuk worked at J.P. Morgan in London and was President of the Representative Office of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in Warsaw (2001-2005). While working at J.P. Morgan’s London office, he was responsible for arranging financing in international capital markets and was also a member of the J.P. Morgan Capital team responsible for the bank\u2019s direct investments in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the Middle East and Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the course of his investment banking career, Pawe\u0142 Gricuk arranged over $14 billion in financing for governments and businesses in Europe. In Poland, he was responsible, among others, for the financing and floating of TVN S.A. at the WSE as well as the capital investment of J.P. Morgan in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. After 12 years with J.P. Morgan, with the support of the Mid-Europa fund he acquired Wheelabrator Inc. in Denver, USA, a global manufacturer of steel surface finishing machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2007-2010 he held the position of President of the Board at Petrolinvest S.A., the first Polish exploration and extraction company that implemented a program of oil and gas exploration in Kazakhstan and Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also sat on the Board of Directors of Wheelabrator Inc. Since 2005, Mr Gricuk was appointed member of the Supervisory Board of TVN S.A. and held that position for 10 consecutive terms. In 2014-2015, he was appointed member of the Supervisory Board of Tele-Fonika Kable S.A. where he was responsible for refinancing the company\u2019s debt amounting to PLN 1.4 billion. Between 2013 and 2018 Mr Gricuk was Chairman of the Investment Committee with Fundusz Przedsi\u0119biorstw Polskich Inwestycji Rozwojowych S.A. and member of the Investment Committee of the Infrastructure Fund. In 2015-2016 he sat on the Supervisory Board of Parady\u017c S.A. and is currently member of the Supervisory Board of Eques TFI S.A. In 2012 he acquired Trans-Energo S.A., a specialized engineering company providing services for power plants and telecoms. After restructuring, the organisation changed its name to PG Energetyka Sp. z o.o. In 2017, Mr Gricuk co-created CoalTech Poland Sp. z o.o., a joint venture with London-based Clean Africa Investment. In 2018, he purchased a 98.6% stake in Elektromonta\u017c Pozna\u0144 S.A. from Grupa Budimex S.A. Pawe\u0142 Gricuk graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a where he majored in Foreign Trade. He also studied in China at the Beijing Foreign Studies University. He is fluent in English and Russian and has a basic command of German and Chinese.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Micha\u0142 Olton: <\/strong>Secretary of the Council<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Micha\u0142 Olton<\/strong> was born on 23.04.1976 in Warsaw. Having graduated from the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw, he worked as adjunct curator at the Polish Army Museum. He specialized in 20th<\/sup> century military history. In 2005, he presented his master’s thesis The Polish Military Mission of General Aleksander Karnicki to Anton Denikin 1919-1920<\/em>. Since 2000, he has been employed at the Polish Army Museum where he authored several permanent and temporary exhibitions on the history of Polish military aviation and Polish special forces as well airborne units of the Polish Army (including: The Polish contribution to space exploration;<\/em> Aeromobile and Special Forces 1918-2006;<\/em> and Before the Thunder Stroke. History of Special and Airborne Forces of the Polish Army<\/em>), the catalogue for the permanent exhibition Aeromobile and Special Forces 1918-2006,<\/em> and the monograph Before Thunder Stroke. History of Special and Airborne Forces of the Polish Army<\/em> (as a follow-up of the temporary exhibition under the same title). He has been active in the 1st Warsaw Division of the Polish Paratroopers Association for many years. He has also been assisting and collaborating with the Special Operations formation GROM, the 18th Bielsko-Bia\u0142a Airborne Battalion of the 6th Airborne Brigade, the Allied with GROM <\/em>Foundation, the Foundation of Former Special Forces Soldiers and Officers „SZTURMAN”<\/em>, the Unforgotten <\/em>Foundation, and the <\/em>Thunder Independent motorcycling group for former and current GROM operators. He currently sits on the Board of the GROM. STRENGTH AND HONOUR Foundation. Holder of an honorary badge of the Special Operations Formation GROM (No. 065).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wies\u0142aw Wo\u017anica<\/strong> – Member of the Council<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sergeant First Class (Ret.), weapons technician. He graduated summa cum laude <\/em>from the Armament Officer School in Olsztyn (Central Training Centre for Armament and Electronics Services) in 1991. In 1991-1999 he served as Chief of Armament in 9th Battalion and 7th Communications Regiment of the Vistula Military Units (NJW) with the Ministry of the Interior. Mr Wo\u017anica served with JW GROM for over ten years, holding various logistics positions related to weapons and armament. He is a Veteran of overseas deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He now owns GUN-CENTER Wieslaw Woznica, Ministry of the Interior license B-055\/2014<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Kacper Petelicki<\/strong> – Member of the Council<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Petelicki is a graduate of the Stefan Batory Middle and Secondary School in Warsaw. Currently a student of medicine, in the future he is planning to become an orthopaedic surgeon. Since his childhood, his greatest passion has been biology with special focus on animals, their diversity, behaviours, and their ability to move, run, and climb (hence his choice of orthopaedics). He is also fascinated by motor vehicles and their designs, including in particular cars and motorcycles. Despite different passions and interests, he is very proud of his Father\u2019s achievements and wishes to cherish his memory through his work for the Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
